MOO3 patch, Friday PM (PST)

According to chantz (from Atari/Infogrammes), the patch will be up on fileplanet and moo3.com Friday afternoon, pacific standard time.

Now let's hope for a starmap editor!

I hope it'll make the game more playable.. the editor is no big deal.. I just want to break the monotomy of hitting end turn because the computer runs everything so well...

I'm still enjoying GalCiv more than Moo3 these days... but who knows.

Played MOO3 with the patch over the weekend. There are some significant improvements. Overall, the feedback on it is very positive. If you are interested in TBS, you may want to give MOO3 another chance (it's cheap enough, nowdays).

Too bad the game hadn't been released in this state originally. Would have avoided a lot of the uproar, I think.

I have played a few of the MODS that have improved the game (not enough) so I may check it out but if they have not done anything with research, ship building, and space combat I don't see it as helping the game.
