[Mordheimel] The Nekromancer

Retreating to a bar.

Verrazzio sets off for the nearest plaza, sidewalk cafe/open bar, or other place where the party can sit and look inconspicuous for a while to put the final touches on the plan.

The party steps into the Tavern of the Leaping Frog. (Actually there's no name, just a badly drawn and worn out looking frog) A table is available for you to sit down. A goblin comes over to serve; you're not sure if it's male or female.
"Mead for the group yes? 5 meads? Just been in a combat yes? Nasty fight? Roast Pork?"

Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes, T'Kran hisses as he seats himself with his companions.

So have we finished our plan to kill-kill "A," yet? I believe I and Fik attack from the roof, while Verazio, Sintius, and Autumn attack from opposite ends of the alley, trapping the man-thing, yes? We strike first with fire and spell, and then move to finish with steel. Now, how do we access the room?

Autumn looks at the skaven and says, There's no need to draw more attention to ourselves than needed. Please keep the plans to yourself. Gum drop? She holds out a few small roundish bits of candy to T'Kran.

Verrazzio looks at Autumn.
"Do you have a spell, bella donna, that can block the alley? If you do, this is simplissima itself. If you do not, then we indeed must split our forces three ways: a most delicate procedure for us to undertake.
With the guards I think we have little difficulty: two are zombies, which our most pious Sintius can repel; the other is a dog: the handling of which I suspect can be left to the capable hands of our druidic Autumn, as it is a child of nature.
If we can block the alleyway behind them, I can take anything left with Draco and Serpens, particularly if these two are able to support me in combat.
If we cannot, then I will try to block the alleyway behind them myself: that leaves them without fighter support and me by myself, feeling lonely.
Roof access should not be difficult: I counted a number of people there watching us: if they could climb there, I have no doubts you can as well. If assistance is needful, I have a rope and hook in my pack. Make sure you have ropes with you as well: if this goes badly for me, it may come to a chase and a running battle after all, and you will need to be in the street."
He sips his mead and makes a wry face.
"Peste! Next time I order the drinks. Any further questions, suggestions, or thoughts? Who's not clear on the plan?"

T'Kran briefly contemplates ripping open Autumn's throat open and watching her blood spill out across the table.

Instead, he smiles a vicious grin at her. Such talk is commonplace in the city, and even if overheard, it would cause no harm to our endeavor, foolish one. Turning to Verazzio, he replies, I understand, man-thing. The plan is done, let us prepare.

T'Kran looks around, bewildered at the halfling's statement. T'Kran briefly wonders how a nice, plump halfling tastes. By all accounts, they were supposed to be quite tasty...

Who is this bird man, small one?

Verrazzio clears things up

Verrazzio smiles imperturbably and twirls his mustache with his thumb.
"Signores, I believe a confusion of tongues we have. Signior T'Kran is a SKAVEN, not a RAVEN. He is of rats, not birds."
He turns to Sintius.
"Fra Sintius, if you're clear, we'll make final dispositions. Fid, T'kran, find a way up onto the roofs of the left and right buildings on the alleyway. Decide which one you prefer to make your stand on. Autumn, Sintius, you're with me. We try to find this Angal's favorite brothel: if nothing else, we try and find his entourage. I find it hard to believe that a wizard of his description guarded by a brace of zombies should be difficile to find, yes?
We meet back here in an hour, then take up station, you on the roof, we on the ground. Fra Sintius, perhaps you can prepare a small sermon for the saving of our poor souls: getting mine resolved should take three or four hours of time.
Allegro, all."
