Yeah, that's been discussed here. Personally, I think it's an extreme stretch to think the likes of Superman and Green Lantern are going to be given pause by Scorpion and Subzero.

Well the canon about superman is that he can be weakened by magic as well as kryptonite (just a quite unknown fact). It's just that in DC universe magic has been pretty rare whereas MK universe is quite chock full of it. So it's not as far fetched as it might at first seem.
