MotW: Forsaker

I can only think of one big down side. Unless you are a monk you can hit anything with DR unless you can hit REALLY hard.

Maybe it is not so munchkiny.....

By destroying magical items, you get a DR for 24 hours (meaning you need to destroy stuff every day). At 3rd level, your weapons are treated as natural weapons for purposes of overcoming others DR. So, if your DR is high enough, you can get through others DR.

Remember, you need to destroy X gp every day for this to apply that day.

Ah....

That is good for them. Or else a 5th level wizard that casts fly and Pro. Arrows would have free xp. :D

Maybe it might find some use as a villain (some sort of twisted take on the Spanish Inquisition?) but I can't help but think this PrC would play havoc with party unity.

I would be very tempted to multi-class this fellow with a Paladin or Monk to improve the saves. I don't have the book with me at the moment but I think the Forsaker already gets some very good abilities to resist magic; maybe he doesn't even need the extra bonus's to saves.

I wonder if a Psion/Forsaker would have to give up using his psionic powers? (Or a PsyWar, since he gets lots of Bonus Feats and could probably qualify faster).

Ooh... that brings up a good point. I don't have MotW yet, so what does it say about Psionics? All that's been mentioned so far is magic...

(Methinks we've found a loophole...) :D
*Evil laugh* Mwahahaha

Nothing about psionics. Psionics are not in the core rules, so other books will not refer to it.

But that is a very good point. I'd say it wouldn't be allowed.
