MotW: Tempest question: 2H vs 2W, again!

2Xeovke: Well, perhaps i am bit... hmm. what`s "stur" in English?
One advantage for our two weapons guy (fighter 1): What if he had to change weapons? What if Fighter 3 had to change his weapons? I think that is the greatest weakness in the Weapon Focus "Chain", isn`t it? Two Weapons Guy could easily change from Longsword / Shortsword to Flail / Light Mace or something like that.

My most recent Fighter type character looks like this (at 6th level, currently he is at level 10):
Ranger3 / Fighter 3 (25 Point - Buy)
Str 14
Dex 14
Con 12
Int14
Wis12
Cha8
Feats:
Virtual Ambidexterity & Two Weapon Fighting
Expertise, Improved Trip, Improved Disarm
Shield Expert, Exotic Weapon (Spiked Chain)
Weapons: Spiked Chain or Light Flail / Shield Spikes

The advantage of this concept is:
Great Versatility. He can switch from twohanded attacks with reach to two weapon attacks, using all useful combat options. Well, in our group, we might call it: "He can country AND western!"
:)
Disadvantage:
Damage Dealing wise not as powerful as most other fighters.
AC not to great, but can be easily improved...

TWF - base dmg for doublesword = (2x1d8, +1.5X for str +2xY for other benefits)

Consider 10th level tempest (20th level character): +20/+20/+15/+15/+10/+10/+5/+5

Slight problem here: a Tempest cannot use a double weapon with his various abilities. He is limited in this way just like a ranger, so no double sword wielding Tempests are allowed by the rules.

I believe he could get the same average damage (beforce using Feats like Weapon Focus / Specialisation) when using a Bastard Sword and a Short Sword... (1d10 / 1d6 == 1d8 / 1d8)

I hadn't noticed that, and that is a HUGE disadvantage for the TWF a opposed to the THF. The THF can get use 3 feats, weapon spec, weapon focus and imp crit, and he will be an effective combatant.

The TWF has to use those feats just to be able to use 2 weapons.

Or I guess you could just be a ranger and use 2 shortswords, and 1 point average less per attack really isn't that big of a deal.

Never mind.

Well BUGABOO!!!!!

I just realized that I left MotW at home and I was going to work on my spreadsheet some.

So now I need to make sure I have some things right.

Greater Two Weapon Fighting: An additional attack with the off-hand weapon at -10

Supreme Two Weapon Fighting: An additional attack with the off-hand weapon at -15

Absolute Ambi: Negates 2/2 points of TWF penalties.

What are the power attack abilities the Frenzied Berserker gets called? I know one doubles power attack amounts, and the other one increases damage by 3 points for every 2 points of attack bonus you sacrifice, but what are they called?

And what other things from MotW would work on the spreadsheet?
