I bought this on DVD a while back because it was on sale for $4.99. I've never gotten around to watching it, though.

My wife likes Lambert, so when I saw a previously viewed copy for $ 2.99 I bought it for her. After she watched she said I overpaid. I told her that from the video box it looked like a Braveheart knock-off, to which she replied "They should have knocked it in a different direction."

I'd almost say worth watching once, just for inspiration for costumes and scenery and stuff, but otherwise? Junk.

I feel obligated to comment, it's not even bad in a funny or so bad it's good way. just painfully terribly unwatchable.

I'm still constantly surprised that there are real, honest-to-God flesh-and-blood human beings who can watch a Chris Lambert movie. That guy paradoxically sucks AND blows. If he were one person in a crowd scene in Hamlet, he could find a way to make the whole play suck.

Which I've always found really interesting, since the guy has a good screen presence IMO.

Yet, his movies always suck (with one or two exceptions, where the movies were good despite him).
