Munskins/Power gaming - Two weapon fighting feat with two bastard sword

Someone say to use TWO sun blade, lol this should be almost impossible in a balanced campaign to have two of these beauty.
Not impossible....just some one with (50,335 gp x 2) in disposable income. Should be possible by 15th level (wealth = 200,000gp).

btw i really hate the goliath, this another race who exist only for doing more damage... that it...

Hey now :P I thought the goliath's were one of the few new races that have come out lately that really, well, "felt" good. Very well flushed out. Awesome culture. A naming convention that makes sense. Just, dang. I really enjoyed the "Races of Stone" book. Sure, a goliath can do a little more damage, but that's what LA+1 is for, right? And I think a goliath adds a TON of RP potential to a party - a huge, wandering nomad, naive to the world, his first night in the big city...with it's brothels, and pubs, and......

Plus, they look cool. Not in all the pictures, but most of them :) Now, if you want to start being a munchkin, use a giant-sized mighty composite longbow with the cragtop archer PRC and a few levels of fighter....yuck, just...yuck. :)

Don't you mean a giant-sized Greatbow? ;)

Okay i didn't know this was considered a short sword, BTW this a very strong item, i don't expect my players to build a character while expecting to have this.

That depends on what level your campaign is at. Surely not at level 1, but at level 17, why not? IMC, I can't even restrict what the players get to certain items (not that I would want to) - they have an artificer in the party.

Even at level 17 in my campaign my group wont be able to create or find more then one sunblade.

This a personnal choice of mine to handle magical stuff like this of course.

I just want that thing so much powerful to be rare and worth a quest for the component to build the sword or to find it.

If the group have to find a solar feather to build the sunblade, they wont do this quest twice, this way restrict creation of powerful magical stuff.

I think if a guy have two sunblade he won't love them as much that someone who have find one and known he will never be able to get another one.

This the same in my world for everything powerful, like sword +5, sword of sharpeness/vorpal and so on...

Just ask the same Solar for two feathers. How difficult can it be?

Hello,

This fine to me if you pick the race because you want to roleplay it. But i know that many people (probably at least half of the people who play dnd) will select this class to have the higher strenght bonus.

Yes, the character Level Adjustment save the day :)

You could have used one line instead of eight, there. Just say you're running a restricted magic campaign, and we'll understand.

May I ask why you do this? I'm honestly curious. I find that the party has a much better chance of surviving with more magic, and for me the problem has always been that most of my encounters, even the random "wandering in dungeon" and "dungeon entry fight" ones, have a pretty good chance to TPK.

And you don't strike me as the type to do it so you can deliberately kill your players, either . . . so I'd like to know what you're thinking. :D

Class? Race? Huh? Are you quite sure you're using those terms correctly?

Well the new version of the tempest in 3.5 is very weak i think, this a new version on 5 level.

Really? I much prefer it. The old one didn't give you anything you couldn't get just by picking the right feats, iirc.
