Actually, they've had "The Best Of The Muppet Show" DVDs out for a while (you might have seen the infomercials on TV). There's 3-4 episodes on a disc and I've taken 2 or 3 of them out from my library. I forgot how funny they were. Some of the guest stars I saw were Steve Martin, Carol Bernett (sp), Gene Kelly, & Gilda Radner (I can't remember them all right now). That show was where I learned about and saw SO MANY stars, that other wise, I wouldn't have a clue about (I still remember certain seeing certain actors on that show).

And ya know, the funny thing is, the "person" that got me thinking of finding them at the library was my cat! She was mesmerized by that infomercial. I guess it was the whole puppet/muppet thing (she likes to watch some cartoons too... maybe cause they're 2D?). I am going to have to put this on my "to get" list for the both of us. :D

True. But the "Best Of" is not the entire season. I want to see everything not just a few select episodes and now I can! :D

It's time to play the music
It's time to light the lights
t's time to meet the Muppets on the Muppet Show tonight.

It's time to put on makeup
It's time to dress up right
It's time to raise the curtain on the Muppet Show tonight.

Why do we always come here
I guess we'll never know
It's like a kind of torture
To have to watch the show

And now let's get things started
Why don't you get things started
It's time to get things started
On the most sensational inspirational celebrational Muppetational
This is what we call the Muppet Show!

The Alice Cooper one is just great. But my real favorite had a woman on it, a singer that I don't know her name. I'd nbever heard of her, but the episode had me in stiches when I saw it 8 years back.
