Battlestar Galactica season two is only a couple of weeks away.

I watch the home improvement shows.

Me too. Though I'm not currently watching the repeat of the new This Old House where they fixed up a house and barn in Carlisle, Massachussetts (wish I could own it), I do watch Norm Abrams's New Yankee Workshop.

Then there are the cooking shows: America's Test Kitchen, Quick & Easy with Martin Yan, Simply Ming, and Everyday Food.

I watch more hours of PBS than I do in my childhood. Don't get me started on those decade-themed musical shows which aired during a pledge drive.

Okay, that statement sounds too suicidal. But you know what I mean.

Oh that explains it. I never watch the WB. I shall have to look out for this. It sounds fun.

Beauty and the Geek?? This is a show I have not heard of. Can it be true?!? What network carries this?

TheWB. Every Wednesday night. It's more like a social experiment than a dating show though it seems there might be some connection (Chuck & Scarlet). The initial premise is that the geeks teach the beauties to be smarter and well-rounded, and the beauties teach the geeks to be more stylish and social. But as with almost every reality "game" show, the pair to last get the $250,000 prize.

OBTW, the show is being produced by Kelso, I mean Demi Moore's "love" child, Ashton Kutcher.

We also used to watch Average Joe, but the second season was lame. The first season was better.

Yeah, that show is coming back too.
