A Greek being statted as a Barbarian would be a tad ironic. ;)

Haha! Yes, that would be. However, the class fits heroes like Herakles and Atalanta very well, being a good way to simulate their sheer athletic prowess. Herakles is, of course, a son of Zeus, so he's got an impressive divine pedigree and may break the rules. However, he walks around in a lion skin, carries a club, and is known for his massive strength and ability to take a ridiculous beating. Atalanta is described as having learned to fight "like a bear" from the hunters that raised her and she is a superlative runner and wrestler, so Bear Totem Barbarian seems very fitting, although perhaps she's not completely a bear totem. Champion fighter might work, too, but this seems like a good fit for both.
