I'm doing NaNoWriMo as well. It's my third year now. Maybe, just maybe, I can finally get a novel finished this year. Thus far, I'm some 2,000 words behind schedule, but there's still ample time to catch up.

I'm actually writing about that Mysterious Stranger who keeps hanging out in bars and handing out missions to adventurers.

Same here. After three false starts, I've finally got going, but now find myself about 4500 words behind. I've only got 546 so far, but at least I've got somewhere to go with it.
