NC Game Day (Dates posted for NCGDVI-VII on top of page 16)

Folks, I'm going to be out of touch all day tomorrow and into the evening. If anything important crops up that requires an admin at the Game Day site (like a last minute cancellation or something like that), please e-mail Neal.

Thanks.

Rel,

Christy and I have to cancel for Errico's. We're having some trouble with the house and the landlord and the repairmen will be there on Friday after work.

Is this where I begin to feare you as my morning GM? :p

You survived me, BelenUmeria. You should be able to handle Henry. He's probably as much of a RBDM as I am, but he somehow spins it with a smile on his face so that you don't want to stick a pencil in his eye.

;) <--- See? I need to learn that trick too.

Me? I'm just a harmless, loveable little fuzzball. Just ignore those mithril throwing knives behind my back. They're nothing, really. :)

Ok folks, we are down to the proverbial wire here and I wanted to post the RPG's that are in the offing and those with seats still available so that anybody who is interested can see them at a glance. They are as follows:

Henry is correct that pregens are prolly the way to go, cause none of us have the books, but if you wouldn't mind some input on those:

I'd lean more toward the healer type - either a Teyla-as-holistic-medicine-woman type, or a Dr. Beckett (the Scot from Atlantis) type. Possibly some piloting skill thrown in somewhere.

Oncarou - an older guy whose primary discipline is ancient civilizations, but he's old enough to have decent rank (team commander or second) and to be starting to get a little curmudgeon-ey.

Kernelpanik - think Dr. McKay, then add a little bit of an obsession with heavy weaponry, particularly heavy ALIEN weaponry.

Or.... surprise us. :D

Making up them now...lots of stuff to do...getting faster at it...I'm only one man ****-it!!!

So far I've got a Healer(Medic), a scientist, working on teh Team Leader, brick, ect. The medic is fully fineshed other than background and history details (Full character sheet). She is an athletic afrian-american woman who has an interest in world cultures and sports besides medicin.

Let me know if you need to have a character as one gender or the other, I'm doing as my fancy sees fit for the momment.

Our reservations for Errico's are in place, folks. 7:00 and the name is "Morrus" as usual. I should be in sporadic touch tomorrow to deal with anything that crops up last minute. Look forward to seeing you all!

I flew by the seat of my pants at the first Game Day - it went well, but I struggled with prep-work the night before, and I resolved to have everything done at the next one. For me, starting about two months prior and working on it a piece at the time seems the best way to go - five minutes here, an hour there, etc. - and by the end I've got it pretty polished about a week before the event.

I'm only sorry I'm going to miss the dinner with you guys tonight - but I'll see you tomorrow morning! (And I and my crew are still going to Rock-ola on Sat. Night!)

That's great news, Henry! It just wouldn't be Game Day if I couldn't sit around and shoot the breeze with you for a bit after the gaming. Now pardon me while I go make the last few tweaks to my own adventure...not that I tend to procrastinate or anything. ;)
