NC Game Day (Dates posted for NCGDVI-VII on top of page 16)

Oh, damn. Oh damn oh damn oh damn.

I feel immensely stupid. I can't believe that it took me this long... oh, damn, and about a hundred I'm Sorries on top of that to Torm, Oncarou, and Kemelpanik.

Here's the deal:
1) I am Jewish.
2) Tomorrow is Yom Kippur.
3) Yom Kippur is the most important holidy of the Jewish year.

I can't make the gameday. I'm totally sorry guys, It's my fault for not realizing this until, :):):):), the night before. If it's any consolation, Andy Kitowski is running a Riddle of Steel game with some open seats in that time slot. Riddle's a great game, Conan's a great setting, and Andy's a great guy.

Once again, I'm sorry, guys. I sure as hell won't let this happen next Gameday.

Have fun, ya'll.

Have a great gameday!

Rel - My usual offer stands. Collect email addresses from all of the participants, and I'm happy to hand out electronic prizes to everyone at the gameday!

Well, I'm back home and tired after another great game day. Before I drag myself to bed, I figured I'd post my thanks to all who participated and made this another fantastic time. I mentioned this to a couple folks at the Post-Dinner at Rock-Ola, but a lot of the thanks should really go to Neal.

I enjoy bringing everyone together and helping to organize things, but there's no way in hell that I'd do it if I didn't get to play and run games. But Neal spends about 3/4 of his time at Game Day flitting from place to place making sure things are running smoothly and spends precious little time actually playing. So kudos should go to him for all his work. I know that he gets a lot of satisfaction from it, but I still can't thank him enough for the work he does.

I had a blast as usual and it just wouldn't be Game Day without posting some of the more memorable quotes. So...

"Come on in! The dung is fine!" Belen Umeria's wife (I don't recall if she has an ENWorld handle, sorry.)

"You're about to fist the vampire with C-4?!!!" Shemeska

"I'm 'rah-rah-rahing' in the rear!" DM's Girl

"I'm going to see if the butterfly will let me mount it." Corlon

"Insta-Army: Just add dirt!" NCSUCodeMonkey

Please feel free to add more that you witnessed. Also, keep an eye out for photos that will be put up on the Game Day site. And we'll also be settling on a date for NCGDVI, just around the corner in January. So stay tuned!

See you all soon!

Jeph - we'd have liked to play the Feng Shui, but things turned out alright. The three of us got into a HARP game, and while I didn't have a lot of love for the system itself, the guy running it (TGryph) was a good enough DM to make it very enjoyable. Hope to see you next time.

Her handle is Alenda. :)

I just wanted to thank everyone who participated in my game. It was great to meet all of you and you made it a blast! My favorite quote from my game was

This is your brain. This is your brain in someone's stomache. Get the picture.

Henry: Great Eberron game. It was a lot of fun. Hopefully, I'll get to sit in with you as a GM again!

Dave

I too would like to take the time to thank all the players in my HARP game. Considering I had to go with a slightly "watered-down" version due to time restraints, my players picked it up and ran with it. I had four wonderful players that my my first con-GM'ing experience in a long time a very enjoyable one.

Thanks again guys...you made the drive from Matthews worthwhile, and I hope to catch you all again sometime.

TGryph

Great gameday guys, Errebon and Orcz.

Hmmm, let's see if I can remember any quotes...

"We'll call that: 'The Plan'...Make your ride check"-Rel

"Like shooting faeries in a tree"-NSCU Codemonkey referring to shooting faeries in a tree.
"Like shooting elves in a bucket"-^^, except referring to shooting elves in a bucket.

"Oh Snap! Wasn't me!"-Rel, as the iconic chaotic neutral rogue
