NC Game Day (Dates posted for NCGDVI-VII on top of page 16)

We've got dates for NCGDVI and VII!

We are in the process of booking space for the next two game days. Mark your callendars!

NCGDVI: January 29, 2005

NCGDVII: April 23, 2005

In addition we talked about another issue. You might ask yourself, "What could be better than Game Day?" The obvious answer is of course, "MORE Game Day!"

Neal is putting together some ideas for a Game Festival that would stretch over 2-3 days. This won't be happening next year but possibly in 2006. The idea would be to take the same format and simply stretch it out into a full weekend. This would probably take the place of one of our normal Game Days (if folks generally regard it as a good idea) and probably would NOT be held at Talley. Those are about the only details I've got for now, but please feel free to give ideas and feedback at the Game Day site forums.

See you all in a few months!

Rel, I think it's time to talk about a growing issue. This is serious. I wouldn't mention it if it weren't, so I need your full attention:

I think it's time to stop using Roman Numerals. With all those letters it's starting to look like the acronym of a Military Weapons Platform. :D

The dates sound great to me.

That's the plan, baby!

"The NCGDVI is a truly revolutionary platform; it has a range of some 150 miles, carries a complement of some 60 to 80 men and 3 extra tons of materiel..."

"Sounds quite powerful, General Moore..."

"...and can accomodate some 20 games simultaneously!"

"Excuse me?"

Did you see how much crap I was lugging around at Game Day? Obviously the key feature of NCGDV was "Payload Capacity".

BTW, if Mark from CMG reads this, could you tell me where it is I need to send the list o' names and e-dresses?
