NE vs. N (FFA): Very Young Tarterian Dragon vs. Adult Ethereal Dragon

Round 84

OOC: 90 degree turns in place at a cost of 10 feet of movement are acceptable, as long as forward movement of one half speed is maintained for the move action.

The reduce spell has been renamed to reduce person in the 3.5 conversion document.

I tried to follow your moves and ended up at 10N70E, but I do think it is possible to land at 10N65E with a few tweaks, so that is where the kaorti will end up.

The kaorti ignores its ribbon dagger and hits with its claw! (Rolled 18) 1 point of damage! The beetle has 3 hp left.

The beetle backs up 5 feet to 20N65E and sprays acid on the kaorti! The kaorti succumbs to the vapors (rolled 11 Fort save) and takes 4 points of damage. It has 5 hp left.

The kaorti takes a five-foot step towards the beetle and continues its assault, ignoring the burning on its flesh and in its lungs.

Round 85: The kaorti hits with bite (rolled 17) for 3. The beetle, in one last action, squirts out another cloud, which the kaorti succombs to again (rolled 12 Fort save) and takes 4 points of damage. The kaorti is at 1 HP, and the beetle is at -1 and dying.

Round 86: The kaorti can take its turn while waiting for the next Neutral creature.

The kaorti takes to the air.

Move him wherever he needs to be to stay aloft whilst aiming at the western side of the arena.

Round 86: The kaorti flies to 20N0E20Z, facing north and having already turned 90 degrees in this space.

A transluscent, 2-foot diameter sphere of shimmering colors zips to 60N60E20Z. It has tens (or hundreds) of 10 foot tendrils hanging down from it that are surrounded by a hissing white mist.

The kaorti is already injured, and has no idea what this new opponent may be capable of. As such, it will attempt to evade the jelly for five rounds and end the match.

It can fly at a speed of 60 feet (average). Can it beat the air jelly?

*grumble*

The kaorti decides that this form probably isn't agile enough in the air to escape the creature. With another piercing screech, it flaps its wings once to rotate its furred body, then begins flying towards the air jelly. As it hurtles through the air, the kaorti begins to move its clawed hands once again, pulling at the air as though shaping some unseen force. It stretches a hand out and extends a single finger. A beam of darkest black, circled by twisting beams of glowing red, erupts from its fingertip and shoots towards the air jelly.

Turning in place 45 degrees clockwise, then flying to 55N35E20Z and casting ray of enfeeblement at the air jelly. Ranged touch attack at +4 for 1d6+1 Str damage. Turn ends facing NE.

The kaorti misses with the beam (rolled 9 ranged touch attack).

Round 87: The jelly moves to 60N40E20Z, and then a burst of electricity radiates from the jelly. The kaorti does not dodge the burst (rolled 18 Ref save), taking 2 points of damage, and being dazed, thus falling twenty feet for an additional 10 points of damage. The kaorti is dead.

First in round 88 for Neutral Evil is a brooding kython (Book of Vile Darkness). I did E-mail you the stats if you do not have the book.

Oh, I have the book, all right. *evil laughter*

With a high-pitched screech, a toothy creature the size of a dog dashes into the arena. The top of its small body is covered in interlocking plates of dark gray carapace, whereas its underbelly is crimson. A long tail, more than half again as long as its body, extends out behind the broodling. The creature has only two long legs, each terminating in three vicious claws, that propel it swiftly across the arena floor, and it moves with confidence despite its apparent lack of visual organs.

Running to 60N40E.
