You are still going the wrong way. You are moving farther west. I will put you at 110N85E25Z, flying east.

Round 214: A small turtle with a random array of two claws, four flippers, and a head poking out of openings in its shell waddles into the arena to 110N110E.

The flying shark flares his gills in what seems to be an effort to appear even more impressive. Toothy maw agape, Nertle swoops down to bite at his chelonian foe.

Just going for a regular grapple check this time.

The tojanida hits with its readied bite (rolled 25) for 5 points of damage. The terlen has 25 HP remaining.

The terlen enters the tojanida's square at 110N110E and the tojanida misses the AoO.(rolled 8) The terlen grabs on! (Rolled 12 vs. 4 Grp check) It lands and does 7 points of damage. The tojanida has 12 hp left.

Round 215: The tojanida fails to bite back. (Rolled 3 vs. 23 Grp check)

Propping himself up on the two massive fore-fins, Nertle waves his head back and forth, shaking the tojanida violently.

Making a grapple check to deal damage to the tojanida, and then worrying it.

Nertle chews and worries the turtle (9 vs. 2 grapple check) for 19 points of damage. The turtle is dying. Nertle has 25 HP and is at 110N110E.

Round 216: A bird with wickedly curved talons and beak, with plumes of pastel blue and violet feathers, flies into the arena. As it passes Nertle, it breathes a blast of cold, which Nertle dodges (rolled 15 Ref save), but still takes 5 points of cold damage. Nertle has 20 HP remaining, and the bird is at 90N90E20Z. Go ahead, Nertle.

Nertle whirls around on the ground, surprisingly agile for something that should be confined to the water, then pumps his mighty pectoral fins, sending him flying teeth-first into the bird.

Nertle bites the bird (rolled 21) for 9 points of damage, but takes 2 points of damage from the intense cold of the bird. Nertle grabs on (rolled 24 vs. 7 grapple check), worrying for an additional 12. The bird is at -2 HP and dying. Nertle has 18 HP and is at 95N95E20Z, flying southwest.

Round 217: A medium-sized bat flies behind Nertle to 100N100E20Z and bites Nertle (rolled 28) for 6 points of damage. Nertle has 12 HP remaining.

Nertle whips his piscine form around and snaps at the bat.

If he hits, he'll go for the Improved Grab + Worry, and drag the bat to the ground. If he misses, he'll turn 45 degrees in place and fly down to 95N80E, provoking an AoO if needed.

Nertle almost bites himself and lands in shame. (Rolled natural 1) The bat bites for 8 with the AoO (rolled 22). Nertle has 4 hp left.

Round 218: The bat flies down to 95N80E5Z and bites Nertle for 5. (Rolled 29+1=30) Nertle is dying.

Next up for NE in round 218: a worg. (MM)
