Need Help on Kara-Tur Info for a 3.5 Realms game

A couple of questions for anyone who might know:

I'm looking for information on the old Kara-Tur setting, especially anything which is current w/ D&D 3.5. I'm running a FR game, & one of the PCs is a samurai from that area (well, I'm using Complete Warrior's samurai class, but a lot of the details will be Kara-Tur heavy).

I'm looking for different regions, religions/deities, languages, etc. As much info as possible. I'm not really worried about regional feats (though it would be appreciated), or bonus gear (I counted the character's masterwork bastard sword/katana for that), but languages are a must (esp. since it'll affect what bonus languages the PC has).

I've checked the links here at ENWorld, & I've found one, though it didn't really have the info I was looking for. I didn't know if there's any other sources out there that are really good.

Now, I'm not going to be running any PCs in Kara-Tur (unless I can get a HUGE amount of info to do that), but I'll be using stuff from Kara-Tur in Faerun (a samurai here, a shugenja there, a wu jen just for change, and a ninja for a bit of spice, etc.), esp. to give the samurai PC a few familar things from home to relate to (not to mention to provide him the chance to be the guide & the rest of the PCs be the unfamiliar tourists). Plus, I'm thinking of having ambassadors from Kara-Tur in a few of the cities (Waterdeep, Baldur's Gate, etc.).

I'd appreciate any help/info y'all can provide.

The character that I play is also a samurai from Kara-Tur (OA samurai instead). I haven't found much information out there, but what I have discovered is that Shou is the main language in Kara-Tur that the samurai would speak. There is some information about Kara-Tur in the FR book Unapproachable East, but the most information is in the older books. There is a Kara-Tur box set that I believe is first edition, and my husband just informed me that there is a Dragon issue that has a small amount of info on Kara-Tur (issue 318)

As for religions/deities, regions, languages, etc . . . I think your best bet is the Kara-Tur box set. I would love to see an updated book on Kara-Tur (or an article in Dragon!), but I don't think that is going to happen any time soon :\ You can find the Kara-Tur box set on ebay or in pdf form from Paizo or maybe RPGnow. Good Luck! Let me know what you find.

The pdf versions of the Kara-Tur info is available at www.RPGNow.com. If you can buy them from there, updating shouldn't be too difficult (fingers crossed). Other than that, Dragon magazine has had the only 3e info.
