OOC: - I will post tonight, I had a late night in the emergency room last night, my pinky finger was caught by the edge of a handheld orbital sander and needless to say, I was in need of several stiches.

OOC: OOC: Owch! I hope it doesn't hurt too badly, and gets better soon.

As you begin to move down the hall toward the intersection, Ton notices the word "Betrayer" written in a 1 foot tall letters in a deep brownish red on the wall to the left. It looks like it might have been smeared by a hand, you can notice finger smears in a few places.

The intersection ahead is very dimly lit, the only light is coming from the passage straight ahead.

You approach the intersection, there are wooden doors covering both the left and right passageways. A faint light eminates from somewhere straight ahead.

Ton will search both doors for traps. If either is trapped, he will attempt to disarm. If either is locked, he will attempt to unlock. Starting with the left door, he will open the doors and quietly peak inside.

Anna pulls a sunrod out of her backpack and strikes it on the near wall. "Let there be light!" She jokes as she passes Persephone the alchemical torch. Anna moves forwards slightly, taking a position just in front of Persephone, leaning forwards as she squints along the passageway.

"Someone want to investigate that light up ahead? Seems a bit odd for an empty vault to be lit."

Ton stops a few feet I front of the door and bends down to examine the stone floor before the door. He then gently runs his fingers around the frame of the door. Finding nothing, he turns his attention to the lock. He studies the lock for a few seconds then Ton’s fingers slip into his pocket and come out with some slim metal pieces of metal. Ton’s fingers nimbly move the picks within the lock and Ton finally feels everything fall into place, and the lock slides open. Smiling to himself Ton puts his tools away.

Ton quietly opens the door, even his companions could barely hear the creaking of the door. The light from the sunrod reflects off the stone walls and filters through the partially open door. Ton sees an ornate 30 x 30 room, featuring a large stone pool in its center. Positioned around the pool are four trees. Finally you can see four tapestries here, each hanging on a different wall.

Ton closes the door behind him and explains briefly what he saw.

Ton moves gracefully to the right door, checking it for traps and then again deftly picks the lock. Opening the second door and peeks in. This room is a little larger than the last and is filled with bunk beds in various states of disrepair. Some debris litters the floor and the air stinks like pungent vinegar. Ton closes the door and does not realize his own strength as it makes a loud smack when door hits the frame harder than Ton expected.

Persephone

"If there are no doors in these rooms, we should definitely check them out before continuing down the main coridor. How 'bout the room with the trees first. There must be something magical there since trees don't normally grow w/o sunlight."

OOC: Nice description of checking for traps & picking locks KTT!
