Hmm, I might possibly be interested in running something, but sadly there is nothing that is inspiring me at the moment. I don't have anything homemade prepared, and the published adventures just aren't doing it for me.
So help me find an inspiring adventure idea/adaptable published adventure and you've got your man!
There are several ideas posted in the General RPG Discussion forum.
I've been batting a few around myself for my home campaign I'm starting in Eberron.
- Something involving the Lord of Blades attempt to populate the world with Warforged. (Searches for new ways to construct them, ect, all under the guise of someone else, perhaps from Morgrave U)
- A dragon subtly manipulates the party researching the dragonmarks, perhaps even investigating the appearance of a "new" dragonmark.
- Survivors of the ruling family of Cyre drive a quest to seek out a way to restore the Mournland
- Incidents on the Breeland/Droaam border drive both kingdoms towards war, and the party goes to investigate.
- King Kaius ir'Wynarn III asks a trusted group of adventurers/colieuges/guards to help him with his "little" problem.
Honestly, given how open Eberron is, you do some simple things to start and have things escelate later.
- The party goes on a simple artifact recovery mission by one power (Dragon Mark house, organization, government, ect), only to find out later that it was someone posing and actualy a different power...
- A simple job in Sharn gets caught up in the politics of Over and Undersharn...
- Several different jobs by several different powers slowly begin to tie togeather, as the party finds out that they have been helping both sides in a conflict that can not end well for anyone if it continues.
FYI, I've been considering making a personal house rule that adjusts your Action Point total by your CHR modifier. I'm open to any rules a GM makes, I figured I'd just put that out there as an interesting option. I don't think it adds too much to the game as you can't keep them between levels if you don't use them, and I think it makes ANYONE think twice about dumping CHR.
