Yeah, but it's beside my point: Did the show do well? If it did, and Teen Titans did well for a while, If I recall correctly, it would provide impetus for the owners of Thudercats to follow suit, revamping an old property with the above format (which, you'll note, is similar to both Loonatics and Teen Titans, minus the teen band aspect).
Aesthetics aren't considered in my question. I have no interest in this show whatsoever, but something that came before had to give the owners the idea this would make some money somewhere.
