Depends upon who's wandering the boards... sometimes you can get very fast responses, and sometimes you won't see a response for a day or two.

welcome to the boards, im pretty new too. It seems a lot of people are using this icon now, when i first signed up i thought it was the coolest 1, seeing as its a pirate and i play a CCG that has to do with pirates, and i love it. But now it seems i must move on, now i go forth to find myself a new avatar!

I find it best to find an image that you think represents yourself, cut it down to fit the area available to you for an avatar, and use it as a custom avatar... gives you something that people will instantly recognize you by, other than your name. Besides, it helps give your posts a little personality and unique-ness, as well.

Not to say anything bad about the built-in avatars, of course...

Well... I am somewhat... tired (for want of a better term). I had been studying for first year uni exams for a full week straight.

Can you enlighten me again? What does NP mean, or stand for?
