The hometown team (the Chargers) managed to win, so they won't be the first 0-16 team in the history of the NFL. I wonder how long Brees will play well for a coach that's trying so hard to get rid of him, though. I've liked Drew since he was at Purdue and lighting up the Big 10 on ESPN2; my hope is that he goes to Green Bay after this year, and pulls a Steve Young (talented QB on a bad team is run out of town, goes elsewhere to back up a legend, re-emerges as a great QB in his own right).

I managed to get Trent Green and Tony Gonzalez arguably one of the best tight ends in the business playing on one of the highest scoring offenses in the NFL and niether of the two did crap for me.
But I'm not bitter.

That's for sure. He single-handedly won my league for me the last two years and he bailed me out of my game this weekend!

I schlepped along with my crappy wideouts in one of the leagues, but in the other I have Culpepper and T.O, and I really rocked. Even Priest couldn't save that guy...

I can't believe it: first half of the first game of the eagles season and they were winning.... and they stayed in the lead! I guess TO can stay, though he needs to learn to Philly traffic is horrible and shouldn't get a police escort every hme game.

Well, my Saints played typical Saints football and came up with the usual result.

Hopefully, we can tighten that up and come up with something next week.
