The felldrake enters, head raised as it takes in the view. It moves to 60N60E and waits to see what the floating thing does.

(double MEA to 60N60E)

I am keeping the following here because I do not want to determine the dragon's feats and skills again.

Oceanus dragon wyrmling (Draconomicon). It has the feats Hover, Improved Natural Armor, and Iron Will. It has the following maxed out skills: Knowledge (History, Nobility, and the Planes), Listen, Search, Sense Motive, Spot, and Use Magic Device. It knows nothing about the mushroom other than what it has observed.

Let us know if you do not have the Draconomicon, and someone can take over the dragon.

The last opponent was supposed to be a spiked felldrake from Draconomicon, not a horned felldrake from MM II. I don't know if that makes a difference.

Horned = CR3, Spiked = CR4. And, that's where the similarities end. It would have made a huge difference because the spiked felldrake has a ranged attack. The mushroom didn't even exert himself, though, so I suggest you just send in Spiky.

It makes a big difference. We will redo the battle.

The felldrake moved to 60N35E because it has a ranged attack, which it uses. It fires a hail of spikes from its tail, shredding the mushroom (rolled 24) for 7 points of damage. The mushroom has 21 HP remaining.

Round 237: The mushroom floats to 55N40E10Z. The felldrake feels a tug upwards, but is too big to be lifted. It breathes in bad spores (rolled 10 Fort save), taking 2 points of Dexterity damage. The felldrake's Dexterity is down to 12.

The felldrake backpedals to 60N20E and fires another volley of spikes.

(OOC: Let's hear it for Point Blank Shot! If I had pounce, I'd try leaping, but that's not likely to be an advantage. Let's compress cycle the spore-vs-spike until the felldrake gets to Dex 8 or lower, and then we'll worry about jumping instead.)

The felldrake hits (rolled natural 20) for 12 points of damage. The mushroom has 9 HP remaining.

Round 238: The mushroom floats to 60N30E10Z and heals itself up to 32 HP. The felldrake ignores the spores (rolled 22 Fort save).

With the mushroom preforming a different action, I would like to know if you would still like to time compress.

The felldrake rushes the floater and attempts to make a leaping attack!

(Charge! He has no jump skill, so the only bonuses will be for Strength and high movement rate.)
