Ninjas: in or out?

I hate the idea that a Ninja is somehow more than just a specialized Rogue, and deserving of being a class or a PrC... So, out.

What can I say, I'm a child of the eighties. I retain fond memories of the computer games from my youth

Isn't it amazing how people can take something from another culture who's had it for thousands of years...call it fashionable for a decade or so...then suddently call it unfashionable?

Sushi...is it in or out? Its not in or out...its just food that people have been eating for years.

Ninjas aren't in or out...they just are.

I'd say Ninjas are definetly In all the time. Or at least Ninja-like variants tailored to your campaign.

I wouldn't use an actual Ninja class, however. Ninjas basically do so many things that a Multi-Class Fighter or Monk/Rogue/Wizard is probably simpler to make.
