This is refreshing news. All the moreso since it means that there will have to be controllers with something approximating the familar GameCube controller configuration, which helps to somewhat dispel rumors that the Revolution won't have controllers with anything familiar on them.
If you're going to injure people, forget the controller and go straight for the system with a perfect handle: The Gamecubetrancejeremy said:And of course if you want to injure someone, the PS2 controller is almost useless. Xbox all the way....
Huh. Really? I quite like the PS style controllers. I think the DC controllers are the worst I have of all the systems I've played.Brother Shatterstone said:I rather dislike the PS2 controller… The dual shock seems so poorly implemented; I love the Xbox small controllers but then again I really liked the Dreamcast controllers also. (I’m a big guy though, I can palm a basketball, so I’m sure everyone’s mileage differs greatly on this.)

Heh, I don't know about ergonomic, but the Nintendo controller is supposed to be intuitive. I saw a thing before where they were talking about how the idea controller would have a joystick and a minimal amount of buttons. The controls should be intuitive, with the main button controlling almost everything and the auxilliary buttons being... well, auxilliary (in the GC's case, the A button is the main button since it's so honkin' huge compared to the rest).Brother Shatterstone said:I like all my buttons to be the same size and in nice little rows...
