Does anyone know how event registration works for RPGA events? There isn't any RPGA events on the ShoreCon website. Is it just show up at the mustering area at the appropriate time and hope they have enough judges?
Well every time I have been to shore con that is how it was done.

Regrettably, that may be the case. It was last time I went (2 years ago). You might check the Keoland Website and click on the 'Convention Listings' link on the left. They list Shorecon as part of the 'Weekend in Keoland' event, and list a fellow by the name of Dave Santana (wyvern.silverwane@verizon.net) as being responsible for 'all other RPGA activities'. He might be good to e-mail with questions.

Posted the question on the Keoland list. Seems like they're working on some pre-reg system for the RPGA stuff.

Just checked the ShoreCon website. There's two RPGA events listed (both Living Arcanis). I guess more will be posted as people sign up to GM.

My previous experience at Shorecon was that there were a lot of pick-up/last minute games. However, this year they're doing a lot more online than they used to, so I'm not sure how that factors in.

My only RPGA LG game was at Shorecon, and while it wasn't the worst game I'd ever played, it wasn't very good, either. (Any game that ends in one of the players having to appeal his release from jail with the local triad after I had him arrested isn't really on my top 20) It was more pronounced because my wife and friends had joined another game they read about at the con, and had a ball smacking down frost giants, liches and winterwolves. Then they came back to my game, to see me sitting there trying to prevent another PC from killing our patron NPC and from the rest of the party from killing that PC. :p

I am thinking of GMing a couple of Savage Worlds games on Friday, (I have until this Friday to decide.) I might even do a Basic / Expert D&D game if the mood strikes me right.

For those that have been, I wrote one of the staff but they never got back to me. I have loads of gaming stuff I no longer use and would love to sell it. Do they have tables at Shorecon, like at other game cons, that you, (a non-vender) can rent for about an hour or so, just to sell your old gaming goods?

Holy Crap on a Stick!

WSmith???

Is that you? How have ya been? I assume you made the trek east OK...I hope you are doing well and it is good to see you post!
