D&D 5E No One Plays High Level?

Okay. I can tango.

I wish to create a new spell called Wishh that has exactly the same effects as Wish and add it to my spell book and cast it with my slots etc etc. now it doesn’t matter if I lose the ability to cast Wish, I can still cast Wishh.

Note since Wishh is exactly the same effects as Wish then failing the roll on Wishh only means I cannot cast Wish.

Do I win d&d yet?
Only if you like the fact that I'd change your class to bard and give you one Wishh a day that you could only grant if someone caught and imprisoned you and forced you to grant it. Or in otherwords you'd be a bard Djinn without all the other cool Djinn Stuff.

the monkey's paw curls - the weave can't spell. nothing happens, because it has no idea what you were trying to pull.

...wait, that implies you can wish for the weave to be literate. you know what? i'm not changing my answer. that's hilarious.

You: "I wish to create a new spell called Wishh that has exactly the same effects as Wish and add it to my spell book and cast it with my slots etc etc. now it doesn’t matter if I lose the ability to cast Wish, I can still cast Wishh."

DM: "Okay. You can create it. Let me know how you go about it and I will set the costs, special ingredients and time requirements to accomplish that creation. Then you can add it to your spellbook. :devilish:

OMG yes.. and all spell books go out the window and every arcane caster in the entire campaign world has to negotiate every spell from now on. he'd be a popular character wouldn't he......

I've seen some weaves that look like they could be independent organisms capable of becoming literate. :ROFLMAO:

For some reason I imagine the voice of Lilith from Frazier. "fireball, you want me to burn them alive. That seems a big extreme! Perhaps you should talk with them first."
