non switchers: what can wotc do to win you back?

Yeah I know, this is so last year.

Anyway, poll coming up, not an edition war thread, blah blah blah

EDIT: For those asking, by "non switchers" I meant "not switching to 4e".
Of course every opinion is welcome.

And by "winning you back" I meant as a customer. I was mostly thinking of D&D (any edition) but I guess other wotc products are also relevant.

Technically, "non-switchers" probably still play D&D, it just happens to be 3.XE, or an early edition and many probably still buy Dungeon Tiles, Miniatures and maybe the occasional setting book or adventure to convert. They would probably still buy older edition PDF products if they existed, as well. If they are like me, they might have been an avid customer who was also a DM but now doesn't DM the new edition and therefore needs very little new product in that regard. The few games I play, the DM provides a pregen or updates an ongoing character and brings them to the game. They might get more of my money if they brought back PDF sales of older stuff, but that wouldn't get them much, or if they published parallel older material, but even that would be a crap shoot and I wouldn't advise it from a business standpoint. Honestly, I think they are doing the best they can and that some of us are just never going to be big WotC customers again, not that we wouldn't have liked to have been or necessarily have anything personal against the current direction. The new game just doesn't give me (us?) as much of the interest-grabbing feeling that previous editions did. I suppose a cross-edition DDI might be a money maker for WotC, since it would promise a steady revenue stream but that is unlikely to be an investment the new direction supports.

I don't run or play any variety of D&D right now. Now I do think 4e is a neat game, its just not that exciting to be honest. So what kind of game would WotC need to do to make them my main game?

Release a 'basic' version of the game. Like I said I like 4e, but I like simpler games. Its a step in the right direction, but I'd be glad to see them simplified further. I'm also pretty much not going to buy a hardback book every couple months, so if that's what you mean the answer is 'nothing'. Give me a complete game in a single book. Minis or not depending on taste. Put some new, experimental, or interesting mechanics in there - I like much of the new stuff in 4e, so a new version will need some rules to play with.

Nothing that I can think of.

It isn't that I'm angry with Wizards or am being vindictive, it is just that they are now producing a game that I do not find as enjoyable as 3.5/Pathfinder. I also am not a fan of subscription based services. I may still buy a pack of minis every year or so, but aside from that I do not see any of my money going to them.

This.

No upset, no anger ... it just didn't work for me.

This.

Pathfinder RPG is my game, DnD 4E is not.

As far as I am concerned, if we all use the rule set we like the most, and then we all have fun.

If/when 5e comes out, I'll look at it, as I look at many things. I probably won't switch to that unless it's really amazing.

As of now, I have almost every 3.5 book I could ever want, and a nicely customized, flexible, powerful game system. I think there are many ways that 4e could have been done better or could be improved, but I'd not likely buy any new stuff even if it had been.

I'd say nothing, but it's not with anger (anymore–I was pretty put out by the Magazine and OGL issues). 4e isn't awful, but I don't really feel the need to put all the effort into it that would be required to be proficient in it.

It's not really ill will. I still buy Star Wars stuff from WotC, and if they put out another game that I liked I'd pick it up, but right now my fantasy gaming needs are met by Paizo (as they basically were before the new edition).
