Not Impressed with Pazios ineffciency and complete lack of Customer service

Well, not trying to put words in dargoth's mouth, but he said in his post that he had not been yet billed OR contacted. So they apparently haven't even processed the order; meaning no mags have been sent, and nobody's moved on the issue.

10 days is quite normal for even a large business.

I recently order a halloween costume online, and I never got a response after 6 days. So I called and as it turns out, my order had already shipped and is on it's way , but they were behind in responding to emails. Keep in mind a lot of online retailers are only manned by a few people. Does that make it right that they didn't get right back to you? Not really, but cut them some slack. When you are dealing with online companies, you can't expect things to be as instantaneous as if you walked into a store and bought something, or even ordering by phone.

Did they already charge you? The way most online businesses billing systems work is the charge goes through the day your invoice is processed and your invoice is processed a day or so prior to shipping. They'd likely have to circumvent their whole system to just charge you without processing your order. I work for a huge company and it's a hassle for us to do a charge-only. You can't just call up a credit card company and say "Please make a charge to me from this guys card".

It's possible that they ran into some problems when they tried to respond to you, something you wouldn't even be aware of. Perhaps someone on their end made a typo.

I think if you are really concerned, you should call them. Do they have a number on their site? Most online retailers do. Talk to a person before you get all stressed out over what might just be a minor technical problem , a delay at the post office, a UPS screw-up. I was majorly annoyed at that Halloween place and then I called and found out it was nothing.

Good luck & Keep us posted.

I think part of the problem is that, according to an e-mail exchange I had with Paizo a couple of weeks ago, they currently cannot take back-issue orders over the web. I e-mailed them and got this response:

=====
At this time it is not possible to order backissues via the web.

Shipping/handling costs is one of the following for every set of 4

1) $2 for U.S. domestic book rate (delivery approximately 10-14 days)
2) $3.85 U.S. domestic priority mail (delivery approximately 2-3 days)
3) $7 to Canada
4) $9 international

You can place your order by:

1) emailing me or calling me (425/ 289-0060) with your CC (VISA or MC
please) information;
2) emailing me your phone number (US and Canada only) so that I can call you for your CC information;
3) paypal to: backissues@paizopublishing.com (an extra $1 fee applies);
4) mail us a check or money order in U.S. funds payable to Paizo Publishing.
We're located at 3245 - 146th Place SE, Ste 110, Bellevue, WA 98007 ATTN:
Backissues

Please remember to send your shipping address as well as your billing
address (in case of credit card purchase).

Let me know how you wish to proceed.

Regards,
=====

I called the number indicated, placed my order, and had the magazines right quick.

Hope this helps.

I think your best bet would really be to just call them and talk to a human and find out what's going on.
