[Nov] What are you listening to?

Put down another mark for Dream Theater's Train of Thought - great stuff! Has it really been two years since Six Degrees came out? My how the time flies.

Also I've been obsessed with Rodrigo's Adagio from Concierto de Aranjuez. Rodrigo is really good at using the guitar with the standard orchestra, and the Adagio especially is quite beautiful.

Also, a bit of Beatles, random stuff. Yesterday gets a lot of playtime though.

I've been listening to the Once Upon A Time In Mexico soundtrack a lot lately...and wishing I was spanish...

The Kill Bill soundtrack has frequently been playing in my car deck as well...you gotta love the 5, 6, 7, 8's! WOO HOO!

Hmm..lots of stuff..let's see

New Stuff:
Robben Ford - Keep on Running
Ryan Adams - Love is Hell pt1

Old stuff:
John Coltrane - Giant Steps
Lots of grunge stuff..Nirvana, Soundgarden, Stone temple Pilots.
Some Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble
And whatever my Itunes playlist throws at me (gotta love Itunes)

The only CDs I've listened to at all this month also happen to be the newest to my collection: REM: The Best of REM 1988 - 2003 and Sarah McLaughlin: Afterglow.

Loving the REM. Hoping the new Sarah grows on me. So far I'm less thrilled with it than her last two CDs, which is sad since she is my favorite female artist.

Guster, Coldplay, Ben Folds (who I saw in concert for the 2nd time last Saturday--SO good live!), Dispatch.

I'm on an Alternative (if that's the right genre...) kick.
