Yea!!! My job here is now done! ;) Just jokin' NF!

Hey not like I wouldn't Ashy, just really, really want to run a Scarred Lands game. :) But thanks. Btw I am considering adding Wrack and Ruin and of course Arena.

I bought the book the day it arrived at the store and have read it here and there, enough to get the general idea. I like the setting, but am changing some of the people in it and some of the races to fit my needs. Other than that, and a couple of story line changes to do with its location, it will be a go for my party when they decide to head into it.

Right now, they know about it somewhat and are doing more research before jumping head first into it.

Sounds great! Oathbound is made for customization! :)

I can understand that, NF, believe me - heck, I'd just like to GAME every now and then. :p. W&R is good - I've seen it and it is on my list of items to acquire. ;) Arena is gonna rock - I'm working on bits of it currently! :D

I've got a group playing it right now. Though I believe that the party is going to get sent to the Forgotten Realms to run City of the Spider Queen for a little while.

We enjoy it a great deal I'm looking forward to seeing how we readjust to Toril.

Don't normally quote myself, but I thought it provides nice context.

So the first game started and made me realize something wonderful.

Oathbound is a great way to introduce epic stories to worlds that are a tad, shall we say, overdetermined.

In the situation in question the DM linked the adventure on Toril to the fact that several if not all of the Torilean deities probably participated in the creation of the forge, but I could see how it could work on a much lower level given the numerous very powerful individuals who live on the forge and who might be willing to save on forge escaping costs by throwing out a lower level party to accomplish their extra planar ends and then pulling them back in.

Very cool. Also been fun role-playing the reactions of a more generic DnD world to people who have obviously been forged.

I'm just waiting for an oppertunity to drop players into it. Game world looks great and has endless possibilities....even more so than FR.

and that folks is saying a lot
