Oddest class combination in a party?

What is the oddest set of classes you've had in a party?

Right now I have 2 warlocks, a wu-jen/fighter (3/1), and a ranger. (Ranger was Paladin but she died). They are _remarkably_ successful. Just made level 4 and have had minimal problems with CRs way over their head. Due to a heavy investment in healing wands the wu-jen is the only one that can't go "all day", and that level of fighter has made him pretty much able to continue no matter what. So each fight they are as fresh as the first one. (Well they have some serious STR drain after their last fight, so things are a bit painful at the moment).

I think 2.75 arcane casters, 1.25 fighter-types and no clerics or rogues is a bit odd. What have you had?

Currently (keeping this as generic as possible):

a Pugilist (the Bruiser class by Dr. Awkward off the boards here)
a Ranger
a Knight
and a Favoured Soul of a death god

Basically, they can tank it out like crazy. I'm running more of a story-based than a traditional dungeon delve campaign, but they can really deal with the fights when they come.

In another group:

a cleric of elemental water
a psion
a scout
a barbarian
and a gladiator.

it was Sark Sun, which lends to odd combos.

I didn't tell them to make an all arcane caster group, I swear. They're mild to moderately effective, but very low in the "resistance to area effects" department.

Probably not too odd based on class alone, but...

CN Gnome Ranger (two-weapon) 4
CG Elf Ranger (archery) 4
NE Duergar Rogue 3
LG Human Paladin 4


If they could have gotten along it might not have been too bad. The first three were quite effective together (the Duergar was decent in Disguise and could pass himself off as a Deep Dwarf with his penchant for hoods and cloaks), but the paladin threw a wrench into the works. Mostly by simply being a paladin. She didn't get along with the gnome at all, she couldn't abide the Duergar's presence...etc.

They did well in a brawl, but with no arcane magic, fairly limited healing, and the inability to agree on almost anything...it didn't last very long.

He's quite the character in play. The player rolled a 6 Wisdom and it's simultaneously a laugh-riot and a trainwreck when he plays. In character, Szath, (I can only assume he's taking the dread necromancer/Red Wizard PrCs in 30 levels) suggests the worst possible courses of action with the straightest face. It's hard not to laugh, but it gets easier once the other characters sign on without thinking they're walking to potential death. Thankfully, many have picked up on it now and are not taking his suggestions. He's just so damn subtle...!!
 

My current group's party:

Wizard / Loremaster + Warforged minion (Fighter / Exotic Weapon master / Occult Slaybot)
Wizard / Ranger / E.Knight + Shadow-creature blue dragon wyrmling Rogue
Monk / Paladin / custom PrC + Shadow-creature blue dragon wyrmling Rogue

The Monk/Paladin is a decent tank (in terms of not getting hit and in terms of making any saving throw cry), but his damage output is low. With the Warforged in the party, they're starting to have access to normal small-party tactics, since the Wizards can cast repair spells on him.

The wyrmlings can scout and flank.

The group tends to avoid any areas that they suspect may contain a trap. :)

Yeah, that was fun at low levels. Getting your butt handed to you by a wolf is a very humbling experience.
