I was over there when it was first posted... I had no way to know that history was unfolding before my very eyes.

No, it was a multi-board rant posted a while back. It was a bit amusing.

But it is unlikely that Diaglo actually posted it. People tend to read Diaglo's advocacy for OD&D as being a hatred of anythign new. By all accounts, that is simply not true. Looks for Diaglo's other posts as well.

It's not really because of the typo. This troll post is legendary. It's the "all your base are belong to us" of roleplaying.

A typo? That post is so full of typos that it's like one giant typo! The funny bit is the progressive lack of coherence, you can almost see the guy foaming at the mouth as he types.
