I'm looking for old TSR-modules with random elements. And with "random" I mean quite extraordinary effects, like you sacrifice a living heart on an altar and maybe all your abilities rise a step or you die (something like the effects in Deck of Many Things).

In new OSR-modules these effects are quite common, but I'm looking for original modules for ODD/BDnD/ADnD with these effects.

As an example: Steading of the Hill Giant Chief & Hall of the Fire Giant King both have weird temples where very strange things can happen.

X2 (Castle Amber) has a number of these. A magical dinner. One course will raise your hit points, one will raise one ability 1-2 points and lower another 1-2 (randomly), one will make you either need no food or twice as much food, or give you a +4 bonus vs point or kill you.

It also had a deck of cards type deal, and a magic square thing. One of those things where the letters spell the same words in a different directions? If you walk across a certain path it does so and such to you.

EX1 (Dungeonland) has a magical grotto with a d20 for effects. All are temporary. It's also got a magical hat table where the Mad Hatter tosses one at a PC at random.
