I don't understand why anyone would think the regional feats don't have much to offer classes outside the PHB. A lot of them are fairly generic and not based on having any kind of specific class at all.

I wondered the same thing, that's why I didn't understand when somebody brought it up.

What he meant was that the regioal feats were balanced for the core classes, not with every PrC from every book ever published. Some are great - Milita is nice for a Gish build, there is a fire spell boosting one that gives +2 CL which is very very nice if one can get it for free, there is one that grants immune to fatigue...
