OotS 654

ok, now I'm feeling really left out in some way.

I click the link above I get a page not found error,
I go to my RSS reader see OOTS 654, click the link, page not found,

I go to Giant In the Playground Games works fine, no mention at all of a 654, click latest comic, it takes me to 653, the sidebar says 653, but everyone on the forum is talking about 654.

I've feeling very punked.

Yes -- it is all an elaborate hoax we planned against you last night while you slept. ;)

(or maybe your browser is pulling up a cached version from before? depending on your browser, hold down the shift key and click the reload icon. or clear your browser cache, and then reopen the browser and try again. OR your ISP uses web caching (which you don't have control over, other than asking them -- though it isn't an exceptionally common practice, depends on the size of it), but you probably would have noticed that before now if that were the case.).

Edit: According to the news of giant's site, there was also a recent server migration on their end. If their IP number switched (though that isn't really a common occurrence), if that is the case, your DNS could also be caching the old IP number. What happens when you go here ... http://174.132.204.34 (it's the IP address that resolves to the current oots site)?

I think you've got a caching issue, because the main page is showing the link to 654.

Also, GitP is running lightning-fast today! Hooray for new servers!

O-Chul is the kind of hero I want to play.

Heck, O-Chul is the kind of hero I want to be!

Do you mean fighting crime, speaking inspiring words, and sporting white undergarments ?

Or do you mean that you aspire to coordinate the color of your boots to your beard? :)

I had already cleared my browser cache before I posted, I did recently switch ISP so they very well might be caching that I don't know of.

I still can't get the page to come up on computer but managed to access it by cell phone... *shrugs*

Strange I was having this problem too with Google Chrome. I called up Firefox 3.0.10 and it loaded the new comic with no trouble. So something's up with Google, perhaps.

Rich has done it again. I too am amazed at the depth of emotion he can conjure up with those stick figures.

Godspeed, O-Chul!

I think he's measured his chances, and is taking the best foreseeable opportunity.
Agreed - this is the best (and only) opportunity in a long time - and since V didn't bring in the rest of the group, O-Chul has to assume that they have other problems (meaning he can probably wait a long, long time).

Right now, he can at least try to do something, as he may tip the situation - and can inspire the Creature to do good.

Not lawful stupid, more like lawful good and ready to take chances, along the lines of "fortune favours the bold!"

Cheers, LT.
