Maybe I'm missing something, but how could V possibly escape? He lost the other two spirits, and without them he cannot cast conjurations or teleport.

I can only see things working out for V if the others had some way of both 1) tracing the teleport, and 2) following the teleport to join the fight - and due to the epic nature of the spell V used I somehow doubt either is possible.

hmmm... too soon to reveal the monster yet i think. The paladin will probably distract Xykon enough to allow V to escape but will then get himself horribly killed. This should upset the mitd enough so that he escapes to wonder alone and confused for awhile.

LOL! Over 600 strips (not even counting Start of Darkness) and still too soon to reveal the MitD...

I can't imagine how its reveal could possibly live up to his level of hype, frankly.

I can't either so the MitD is probably better off staying secret for as long as possible and I don't think we're anywhere close to the end of the story yet.

What about Hinjo? He's perhaps not the valiant knight - but was a nice paladin - and as a leader, he has to make different decisions, right now.

What's wrong with Lien and Hinjo?

Hinjo's okay, but he never really comes off as the truely badass paladin that inspires respect and makes evildoers shiver in terror. You know, like O-Chul.

And I loathe Lien. Don't like that newlywed couple much either.
