My wife spent a month in the hospital on strict bedrest before our son was born (3 months premature). I know you don't know me from Adam, but if there is any information you would like or questions I can answer please let me know. My wife and I have found that it is often nice just to talk with someone that has been through something similar.
Good luck to you -- and force the doctors to explain EVERYTHING that they are doing for your wife and child.
