Ok...the NFL topic is up so I thought I'd start the BCS games topic. Who is going to win the four BCS games?

Rose - Oklahoma vs. Washington St.
Sugar - Georgia vs. Florida St.
Orange - Iowa vs. USC
Fiesta - Ohio St. vs. Miami

I pedict:
Oklahoma
Florida St.
Iowa
OHIO STATE! GO BUCKEYES!

Washington State 34, Oklahoma 17 -- I don't think people outside of Pac-10 country realize how good the Cougars are, as long as Gesser's nearly 100%.
Georgia 28, Florida State 24 -- Should be a blowout, but FSU usually finds a way to keep games close.
USC 42, Iowa 28 -- The only teams that could take 2 of 3 from USC are in the NFL. And I'm not sure about the Bengals.
Ohio State 17, Miami 15 -- The Hurricanes almost certainly think Ohio State is another Virginia Tech. They aren't.

The big Ten is so far 3 and 0 in Bowl games, and I think we were the underdogs in each one.

Rose - Oklahoma 24; Washington St 17
Sugar - Georgia 42; Florida St 21
Orange - Iowa 38; USC 34
Fiesta - Ohio St 17; Miami 14

Rose - This one should be close. Oklahoma by a nose, 21-20.

Sugar - Blowout by Georgia, 45-17.

Orange - The best of the four games. Close but high scoring. USC 42-38.

Fiesta - If Miami comes out of the box fast, OSU will not be able to keep up. Miami 31-17.

But what does it matter anyway? The only game that means anything is the Fiesta Bowl.

Well, the BCS is allowing the two top teams to play which would not have happend under the old bowl system. So, baby steps.

Looks like the first game is going to be OU by a lot. I would have thought WSU could of scored some at least.

I think FSU will keep it close but I believe Georgia will win. 28-21.

I also think Iowa-USC will be the best of the 4 with Iowa coming out on top 45-42.

If Miami starts rolling early it is all over for OSU. Once they get ahead they usually don't look back. But I am going for the upset saying that Miami doesn't think OSU is worthy to be there and discounts them. OSU wins a close one 35-30.

Okay, so far I'm 2-1, but the commentary only was accurate for USC-Iowa. I think the Buckeyes will give the 'Canes their reality check tommorow, but if they don't, and Miaimi's undefeated going into the bowls next year, they really ought to play the top Pac-10 team. Oregon made a pretty good case last year that they could have played with the 'Canes. And I'm not sure this year's Miami club would have fared much better than Iowa against USC.
