Okay, you know what? It IS really 'gross'. I don't care if it was green or chartreuse or what. It's a LUNG. Of course it's gross.

NICE!

I quit 5 weeks ago cold turkey, so I know just how you feel right now buddy. I smoked ( pack a day ) for 10 years, and incidentally, am also 33 years old.

The worst is over, but the rest of this week may still be tough, so stay strong. After 2 weeks, it's a breeze.

My best advice would be to do something with your hands especially right after eating ( hand wash the dishes - go throw your pottery right away, whatever...

And already breathing deep feels sooo great & I smell better ( both ways ) too.

If you need any support when you are craving, let me know and I'll do what I can to distract you.

Great Job!

Joe

Resist! And then resist again - a friend of mine managed to quit, and then restarted after some six months. He was always saying things like, "Just one for the special occasion" or "My aunt only smokes one every week, and she doesn't take the habit", or something else. So, when you quit, make sure not to get even a single one again.

WAY TO GO!

I quit smoking the last week of May. It was the third time I had tried this year, and you are right the first 3 days are the worst. After my first two attempts I used the patch this time and got through it no problem at all. After six weeks weeks I didn't even need the patch anymore. To be honest I never really realized what a nasty smelling habit smoking is until I stopped, and of course i can run up the stairs without passing out now :)

My advice Hang in there, it only gets easier.

*casts Resist Tobacco *

There. Now you have +4 on both Will saves and Fort saves v. tobacco! :D

Good luck!

P.S. I hear this spell is illegal in Virginia. And it's effects do stack, so everyone should cast it on you.

This is so true. You cannot have "just one". Trust me. Never ever buy a cigarette, or light a cigarette, or take one from somebody. Don't ever do it.

You're an addict, and you'll always be an addict. But you can fight against your addiction.

Perservere buddy! I quit a 7 year 2 to 3 pack a DAY smoking habit 5 years ago and havent touched one since! You can do it, it sucks but when you are free it feels SOOOOOOO good!

:)

Never took up smoking, but I've had other addictions. Just keep thinking of what it will be like when your free. It's so nice.
