(OT) Christmas looms around the corner and I'm getting worried...

I just got my Christmas bonus and I'm trying to find a shop that sells the Dwarven Stones sterling silver dice, but I'm having little luck. It's going to be my girlfriends Christmas gift, she's a gamer . Anyway, Crystal Caste and one other store does, but at $100, which is more then I can afford (after shipping). www.stiggybaby.com has them at a good price, but he can only ship via the US mail and not UPS or Fed-Ex,, and it won't get here in time for Christmas via the US snailmail... so does anyone know where else I might be able to pick these up under 100 dollars that can ship Fed-Ex or UPS? Thanks guys, I appreciate it very much!

$100? For the sterling silver? I think my local gaming shop (Mayhem Collectibles in Ames, IA) has them for under that amount. I'm pretty certain they must be below that, because the gold ones are $99.99.

It is possible I would be able to do it for you, but here's the rub. I have to get all my money together that I've made this year and show my parents what I've made during college. I have to have a specific amount. As I go home on Wednesday, and Mom and Dad will want to see my banking shortly after that, if you were to pay me back for buying and shipping the dice, it would have to be supersonic payback. This may be too short a time window for both of us. But I'll throw that out there.

Maybe another ENworlder with larger wallets and more time may be of more assistance.

Thanks Josh, I sent him an email, I hope he responds soon... if he could mail them out today, that would be awesome. I'm kind of in the fryer on this one... I didn't find out how much she wanted these until yesterday morning and I don't want to dissapoint her on Christmas day.

Well, it looks like he's got them in... so I just sent my payment and hopefully he'll ship them today and they'll be here before Christmas .

Anyway, this is her last gift for Christmas. It was either silver dice or a 5' tall sock monkey, she wanted the dice. Gamer-girl all the way .

Arravis, you got a christmas bonus. You lucky bastard, all we got for christmas here is a reduction in benefits and a 10% pay cut. I guess each company celebrates differently

I work for the Govt., so they tend to be pretty good about it... mind you though, my bonus sucks, it's $140. Better then none at all I suppose, the job does pay well for graphic design (pays awful compared to other white-colar jobs though).

I'm unemployed currently, and through a horrid mistake am not receiving one of my UE checks this month, so I'll be $400 short... and it was going to be tight anyway. Dammit. That's why I'm doing all the sell-whoring in my sig.
