[OT] Interesting Story

A pro football player, Pat Tillman, just left the league and joined the army. He simply decided that there were more important things to do right now than bust heads in a game. He's actively avoiding publicity, and will be giving up a 3 year 3.6 million dollar contract. There is an article on this in the Wall Street Journal. I was rather impressed myself.

I was rather impressed as well when I heard about this about a month ago. Pat also apparently declined an offer from the St. Louis Rams for about $10 Million to stay with the Cardinals before he decided to join the army. If I remember correctly his brother is also in the army and they both are going to try for the Rangers.
