Wow. Does anyone else think these bands fookin' rock?

Especially Blind Guardian's album 'Nightfall In Middle Earth', with a bunch of songs and recorded narratives from Middle earth.

And Manowar's 'Hail To England' is just a fookin' sweet album.

Yes Yes I do.

While I am not familiar with Manowar I love Blind Guardian. On the same vein DragonHeart (now called Dragon Force), Thy Majestie, Howling Syn and The Necromancer by the new agey Church of Selene are amazingly cool too.

BTW all of the bands I mentioned can be tried out on MP3.com

I've been a MANOWAR fan for years now, and they're a super fun band to follow. The whole image they project is terrific... so much ego in the music that you can't help but grin. The music's not even that great, except for a few songs. Kings of Metal is my favorite MANOWARalbum. Saw them live in '98. Terrific show.

I'm KINDA getting into BLIND GUARDIAN, but for every one thing they do that pleases me, they do two that annoy me. Mordred's Song and Lord of the Rings are two good pieces.

HELLOWEEN. Looove HELLOWEEN.

GAMMA RAY. Kai Hansen may well be my choice for greatest musical living legend. No metal music's felt more epic than this to me- it's all about speed, ferocity, a need to do what's right in the face of evil, and sacrificing everything for freedom. I recently picked up No World Order and am just loving Dethrone Tyranny. Holee jeez that's a good song.

Anyone like RHAPSODY? I'm starting to get into them. Nice melodic fantasy metal. No hard edges, but lots of sharp ones. Apparently big Dragonlance fans, judging by the cover of their album Legendary Tales...

A friend of mine recently bought a FALCONER album and loved it. Haven't heard it yet. Also looking forward to giving IRON SAVIOR a listen.

the Blind Guardian show that was supposed to happen in my city last friday was cancelled....

AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(cant stress enough wrath by typing)

the best concerts I went to were manowar´s in 1996, and Iron Maiden´s in Rock and rio.

Manowar frickin rocks. The newest album has some killer tracks as well. I listened to them in High School for mood music in our DnD sessions along side Carmina Burana.
