[OT] New (old) Angel episode - Wow!

Hi!
I just watched the newest Angel episode on TV: Redefinition (Season 2)

Yeah, I know we are waaayyy back in Germany :)
Anyway, the whole episode was just great! How Angel trained and worked out, and then set Dru and Darla on flames after killing of their cronies...

Wow!
I can see how one becomes an Angel's Boy ;)
I just hope the next episodes will be just as great!

The solution at Wolfram and Heart, however, was foreseeable.
Well, what the heck?

Berandor, I'm soo glad that I've finally found someone on these boards with whom I can talk about Angel without having to fear about spoilers. I'm Austrian and watch Angel (and Buffy) on the German tv (i.e., Pro7) and so I'm waay behind, too. :)

Anyway... This episode was great, yeah - and the one before it, too. Have also you seen that one?

Yes, I have (of course) :)

But last week, when Angel fired Cordy & Co., they had a preview of next week's episode, where you could see Angel was training for the confrontation... so the shock did not last really long.

Instead, I was waiting for last night... expecting a showdown.

But I must agree, when Angel closed the doors on the lawyers, and let the slaughter begin - that was cool. He should be a Dark Angel, not some happy guy in black clothes :)
I want a little ambiguity...

... and some more Karaoke :D

But after all, I'm totally hooked as to what will happen to/with Darla and Drusilla. I reckon the latter will be driven off somehow, but not killed - and Darla?

Just need to find a gypsy to curse her with a soul.

Berandor
Next post: Buffy? :)

More karaoke? Gunn, Wesley and Cordy getting drunk and trying to sing wasn't enough for you, then? :D

And I agree about Drusilla probably being driven off in the end - and that Darla necessitates a more permanent solution (giving her a soul, destryoing her, etc.).

About him becoming more of a Dark Angel: After he set Darla and Drusilla on fire, Dru said that he was neither Angel nor Angelus, but someone else... And he's been decidedly un-nice (but not monstrous) over the last few episodes, so it's possible that he'll become more like that after all - at least for now. :)

The episode was nice, though I prefered the one before.

Perhaps the current development in Angel shows that having a soul does not mean that you can`t be evil :) (Though this has already been proven by Wolfram and Hart...)

(I liked it when Angel let Dru & Darla kill those guys from Wolfram & Hart)

I like Angel too...

...but the problem is that as I live in Finland (you know, lots of snow, dark winters, bright summers, cold, wet, reindeer, Finland!) I've yet to see the said episode... I hope it's as good as you say!:)

Guys, I hope you're right.

QAnother question:
I missed the episode where Wesley passed off as Angel, or at least I missed the end of it.

Is he dating the redhead, now? And why on earth do Wolfram&Heart keep the one-handed guy (forgot the name) in their employment? I mean, he has failed, he has betrayed them he has helped Angel, and so on...
Not that I don't like his character, but is there really an in-series explanation?

Yeah, but he has also done - and sacrificed (e.g., his hand) - a lot for the company. Plus, he's quite competent. And they currently have a shortage of personnel, of course. :D But you're right, killing him off might be the smart thing to do for them; none of what I mentioned is reason enough not to do away with him...
