I've been doing kettlebell routines for the last 8 years. Bought my own bells when the pandemic closed the gym.
different days for different focuses.
Strength and power (snatch, jerks, row, press)
Abs and Core (swings, windmills, split squats, squats, iso holds)
Complexes and Flows (combine the above into more cardio routines)
 


Last night the gym was busy and I was improvising a bit, but got in a few exercises. Inclined barbell shoulder press on a Smith machine for three sets plus a couple of drop sets (adjusting weight too because this isn't a regular one for me), narrow grip lat pulldowns three sets (with a couple of drop sets), and three sets of face pulls with a slight weight increase. Not a ton of work but some good effort.

Haven't been sleeping great this week and yesterday I felt too dead to do my morning routine, but I managed it this morning. Breathing hard and aching, but felt worth it.

OK, post vacation day 1!

Chest/Upper Stuff.

It was all good, felt real bad at the start but I got home well after midnight after a full FULL day on the road, so I forgave some weakness in the energy department.

250 again on the bench, 80's dumbells on incline, 90's on the dips. It was mostly great.

I'm going to go do legs tomorrow and a sauna I think to really reset.

I also learned.

1. I really dont care for vacation, it disrupts me so much. Diet sucked, activities were fun, got a lot of sun BUT.
2. My shoulder cannot swim lol. Not even doggy paddle. So...I used to be able to swim, but yeah its busted.
3. I may need some real physio work, to correct item 2, but I also just think maybe if I dont, this shoulder issue is forever.

Anyway, the workout today was a winner, and I felt better after doing it, so lets get back on the 6 x a week grind.
 

Got there. Tried to go earlier but it was packed (?!? why you fools, its so nice, go out!) so a bit later than usual.

Side Bends
Leg Lifts

Not bad, no pain issues, but I'm still recovering from my trip and its disgusting hot in my house so my mood is not great lol.
 

Sketchy sleep continued over the weekend and sabotaged some energy. Friday evening and Saturday I was a lump despite it being absolutely gorgeous out.

Dragged myself to the gym on Sunday morning and did a mix of upper and legs, but a little shorter than usual. Forced myself through morning PT stuff yesterday and today, though this morning wasn't as bad, probably because I made myself get in bed earlier last night. Going to try to be more disciplined about sleep this week and see if I can improve how I feel.
