OK, guys! Finally, a feat that can give low-level Sorcerers a decent AC!

Overconfident
You're charm and good looks make even the most cruel and heartless creatures hesitate to strike you.
Effect: You gain an insight bonus to your AC equal to one-half your Charisma modifier, maximum of 2 at first level. For every five HD achieved after this, the maximum possible increases by +1

...Heh, they said the same thing over on the Wizards boards. I'll update it for the new version that's over there now.

And it works for Sorcerers too, though it is extremely broken when it comes to Paladins. Bards will benefit from it as well.

Even with the update it's *still* too good.

For anyone with a Cha of *12* it's flat-out better than Dodge already.

No feat should be granting +4 to AC at 1st level.

If you *really* want this to be a Sorcerer feat:

Unsettling Aura
[Reserve]
Prerequisite: Ability to cast 1st level spells
Benefit: As long as you have an Enchantment spell (or a Transmutation spell that grants an Enhancement bonus to Charisma) available to cast you can stare-down opponents.

As a standard action you glare at an opponent. Unsettled by the force of your personality, they gain a -1 penalty to attack rolls against you (per spell level) for spell level rounds.

As a secondary benefit you gain +1 CL for Enchantment spells.

I like the [Reserve] angle. Maybe something like this...

Domineering Glare [Reserve]
Prerequisite: Dodge, Dex 13+, Cha 13+, ability to cast 2nd level spells
Benefit: So long as your designated Dodge opponent is not immune to [Mind-Affecting] effects, the Dodge bonus to AC provided by your Dodge feat is equal to your highest level Enchantment spell (rather than +1).

Cheers, -- N

Dodge sucks, what's your beef?

Word it thusly:

Prerequisite: Must be able to cast 1st level Arcane spells.

If it's based on Charisma, it should be a Deflection bonus. An Insight bonus would be more appropriate for Wisdom. Mechanicaly, Deflection is better than an Insight bonus because the Deflection would still apply when you are unable to act upon your Insight (helpless).
