I see a typo ("alchohol") in the 53-54 entry! Perhaps they're involving us in the editing process? :o

(I have this strange ability to find misspelled words, even if it's the only one on a page. I haven't bothered to see if there are other ones though.)

24, 58, and 62 are all missing their second digit.

Looks nice, although it seems like they're veering more towards 4E than 3.5E in terms of words per page.

They do seem to be keeping the 4E practice of very large character sections. It's already on page 104 and *still* not done with classes. Unless, of course, they are changing the order of game aspect presentation.

(In 3.5, classes were done by page 60.)

I like that classes won't end until half way through the book. That implies plenty of detail in the races/subraces, and/or plenty of subclasses.

I'm not quite so keen on the Far Realm (it sounded like they were backing away from it back in the Wandering Monsters articles), or the implication of an ongoing commitment to a specific entity as essential to your pact. No character in my campaigns requires permission from an NPC to level up.

Of course, Mike's own warlock character just had his "pact" source be magical powers he got from studying a philosophy book, so they obviously don't care how closely we stick to the fluff. I just wish it would have been a bit less prescriptive.
