It's an interesting question about geek stocks. (For example, the Global X Japan Games & Animation ETF invests in Japanese video games and anime.) While most folks will tell you to get a broad-based index fund and that's probably true for the vast majority of people, if you want to play with a small amount of your assets most people here probably would have more knowledge than average about, say, the video game industry.
