Part 1: The Forgotten Forge (Knight Otu judging) [Concluded]

The outer walls of the building suggest that it might once have been a temple. [sblock=Know - religion DC 12]You recognize the symbols of Onatar, god of artifice and the forge, built into the columns and supports.[/sblock]Entering the ruined structure, you notice that the place has a quiet, serene feel about it. Searching the ancient temple, Mordin turns up a small font in the north east corner partially buried by rubble. Clearing it a bit, he sees that there is a bit of water in the font that looks quite clear.

"Holy water, ointement to fill the air of the temple, or even something to heal wounds, pioson or sickness... let me check, I might be able to find something that would suggest what it is." Kharas take aminutes and look at the liquid, smell it and look at possible magical aura.

Ahki pokes some of the rubble idly, sending a small cascade of pebbles to the floor. He peers into the gloom around him for anything of interest. "What is this schema look like? Is it large or small?" He picks up a pile of broken stones. "How do we know it hasn't already crumbled away. I could be holding it now."

"Possible, or maybe eaten by bugs. My family generally write down there trap's schema on parchemin, but we use some oil to protect them from times and bugs. I suppose the Cannith's house must have done the same thing and we can hope to find at least trace of it if not them. But they must be sure we will find something if both them and the Lord's of Blade put os much effort and blood to seek it."

Weapon looks around, not particularly interested in the temple. "Our employer was not specific on the details as far as I can remember. However, it would be unlikely that such an artifact would be in a place of worship. But, you are right. I may have been destroyed by time, the equalizer of all things, leaving us nothing but a wild chase."

(ooc: Looking back over the thread, it looks like you guys never asked what it looks like, nor did I provide the information unasked. Guess you'll just have to figure it out on your own *wink*)

[sblock=Kharas]You determine that the liquid is magical in nature and quite possibly curative at that. There looks to be about three vials full in the basin.[/sblock]
