The large spire of rock appears to be just that, almost like a stalactite, this large worked stone spire reaches up into the dark recesses of the roof of the cavern. Behind it you find a lot of rubble.

Kharas thinks it was probably more of a single straight column at one time. It looks like it still supports the ceiling, though it has warn away over time and is now much skinnier towards the middle.

"I would not even dare climb that. I am not into maconnery, but that was a straight and simple column at some time. It seems time have work on it. I wonder if there is many column like that? I don't knwo how much weight lay on that column, but the day it will failed, I would like not to be on the tower above here, it might be dangerous." replies Kharas. "Let's continue exploring. As you move north east you pass the field of rubble and a large building comes into view within your circle of light. It appears largely intact and there is even a huge pair of double doors made of a dark metal in the same design as the cover of Bonal's journal.
